About KickVerdict — Tested on Real Feet, Not on Paper
I’m Marcus Reid.
I’ve been obsessed with footwear for over a decade — not in a collector way, but in a “I need these shoes to actually work” way. I’m a runner, a hiker, and someone who spent years working in a job that kept me on my feet for 10-hour shifts. I learned early that the wrong pair of shoes doesn’t just hurt your feet — it ruins your day, your performance, and eventually your joints.
KickVerdict exists because most shoe reviews online are written by people who wore the shoe for 20 minutes in a store, or worse, never wore them at all.
Every review and guide on this site comes from real wear-testing — miles logged on pavement, trails, and gym floors. We look at the things that matter most: cushioning over distance, fit across different foot shapes, durability after real use, and whether a shoe actually delivers on its marketing promises.
What You’ll Find Here
– Honest brand comparisons (Nike vs. New Balance, Hoka vs. Brooks, On Cloud vs. the competition) – Buying guides for specific needs: wide feet, high arches, flat feet, plantar fasciitis – Size and fit guides that save you the return-shipping headache – Category picks for running, walking, hiking, and training — tested across real conditions
What We Believe
A great shoe review answers one question: will this shoe work for MY feet and MY life? That’s what every piece of content on KickVerdict is built to answer.
